Section 17-14-204 - Meetings, quorum, and voting

(a) The State Board of Appraisers, Abstracters, and Home Inspectors shall meet not less frequently than twice each calendar year to conduct its business.(b) Places of future meetings shall be decided by the vote of members at meetings.(c) Written notice shall be given to each member of the time and place of each meeting of the board at least ten (10) days before the scheduled date of the meetings.(d) An administrative secretary shall be present at all meetings of the board and shall record the minutes of all meetings, the record of which shall be made a permanent part of the records of the board.(e)(1) A quorum of the board shall be five (5) members.(2) No binding decisions or regulatory changes may be made by the board in the absence of a quorum.Amended by Act 2023, No. 628,§ 28, eff. 7/1/2023.Amended by Act 2023, No. 628,§ 27, eff. 7/1/2023.Acts 1991, No. 416, § 5; 1991, No. 541, § 5; 2001, No. 159, § 3.
