The Auctioneer's Licensing Board may, upon its own motion, and shall, upon the verified written complaint of any person, investigate the actions of any auctioneer or any person who assumes to act in that capacity, if the complaint, or complaint together with other evidence presented in connection with it if true, would be a violation of this chapter.Acts 1989, No. 266, § 12.
