Upon issuance of the license, a professional bail bondsman shall not issue an appearance bond exceeding the monetary amount for each recognizance which is specified in and authorized by the power of attorney filed with the Professional Bail Bond Company and Professional Bail Bondsman Licensing Board until the board receives a duly executed power of attorney from the professional bail bond company evidencing or authorizing increased monetary limits or amounts for the recognizance.Acts 1989, No. 417, § 1.
