(a)(1) The Professional Bail Bond Company and Professional Bail Bondsman Licensing Board on an annual basis shall solicit proposals from education providers.(2) Upon review of the proposals, the board shall designate an entity or entities to establish an educational program for professional bail bondsmen that will enable bail bondsmen to meet the prelicense and continuing education requirements of § 17-19-212 and this subchapter.(b) The board shall establish a schedule of set fees to be paid by each bail bondsman for the educational training.Amended by Act 2017, No. 917,§ 1, eff. 8/1/2017.Amended by Act 2017, No. 565,§ 22, eff. 3/22/2017.Acts 1993, No. 499, § 4; 1997, No. 909, § 1; 2009, No. 491, § 1; 2011, No. 36, § 1.
