(a) The State Board of Barber Examiners may commence and maintain all proper and necessary proceedings in order to enforce compliance with any provisions of the laws or rules pertaining to the practice of barbering and, in addition to other remedies, may enforce compliance by injunction.(b) Schools of barbering shall be conducted as provided under this subchapter.(c) A person, firm, or corporation desiring to conduct a school of barbering shall apply to the board for approval and will be inspected and approved before opening to the public.(d) The license issued by the board authorizes a school of barbering to transact operations in this state during the year for which the license is issued, subject to the rules of the board.(e) This section shall not be construed as authorization or permission to conduct a school of barbering without a valid license or with an unexpired license.(f) A license issued by the board shall designate on the written license whether the school of barbering is licensed as:(1) A secondary school of barbering; or(2) A postsecondary school of barbering.Amended by Act 2017, No. 1060,§ 21, eff. 8/1/2017.Acts 1961, No. 109, §§ 6, 13; A.S.A. chool of barbering is licensed as:(1) A secondary school of barbering; or(2) A postsecondary school of barbering.Amended by Act 2017, No. 1060,§ 21, eff. 8/1/2017.Acts 1961, No. 109, §§ 6, 13; A.S.A. 1947, §§ 71-528, 71-535.
