Section 17-25-306 - Examinations - Certification

(a) Any person desiring to apply for a license shall be permitted to take an examination to determine the applicant's qualifications.(b) If the result of the examination of any applicant shall be satisfactory to the Contractors Licensing Board, and if the application complies with the board's rules, then the board shall issue to the applicant a certificate to engage in contracting in the State of Arkansas.(c) Anyone failing to pass the examination may be reexamined at any regular meeting of the board upon payment of the regular fee.Amended by Act 2019, No. 315,§ 1379, eff. 7/24/2019.Acts 1965, No. 150, § 8; 1971, No. 546, § 1; 1979, No. 1020, § 3; 1985, No. 180, § 3; A.S.A. 1947, § 71-708; Acts 2001, No. 583, § 2.
