Section 17-26-210 - Disposition of funds

(a) All fees, fines, and penalties collected under this chapter and on behalf of the State Board of Health and all receipts of every kind and nature collected under this chapter shall be paid into the State Treasury and shall be credited to the Public Health Fund.(b)(1) The fees, fines, penalties, and receipts shall be for the general uses of the Department of Health.(2) Salaries and other expenses necessarily incurred in carrying into effect the provisions of this chapter and other programs administered by the Department of Health shall be paid from the fees, fines, penalties, and receipts.(c) Expenditures shall be substantiated by vouchers and itemized statements at the end of each fiscal year or at any other time when demand therefor is made by the Department of Finance and Administration.Acts 1955, No. 358, Art. 12, § 5; 1961, No. 490, § 9; 1970 (1st Ex.
