(a) Before any school license under this subchapter shall be finally granted, a second inspection shall be made after the equipment has been installed and before the school is permitted to begin operation.(b) An applicant shall not be granted a license to operate a school unless the Department of Health finds that sufficient equipment has been installed for the requirements of enrolling a minimum of not fewer than twenty-five (25) bona fide students and that not fewer than twenty-five (25) bona fide full-time student registration requests have been received in the case of any new school.(c) New schools of cosmetology shall be required to contain not less than two thousand five hundred square feet (2,500 sq. ft.) of floor space in the working area.Acts 1955, No. 358, Art. 8, § 5; 1965, No. 403, § 7; 1969, No. 400, § 4; A.S.A. 1947, § 71-856; Acts 2009, No. 4, § 18.
