Section 17-26-413 - Electrology course

(a)(1) An electrology course established by a school of cosmetology shall consist of three hundred fifty (350) hours or six hundred (600) hours of practical training and technical instruction that shall extend over a period of not less than two (2) months for a three-hundred-fifty-hour course and four (4) months for a six-hundred-hour course.(2) In no event shall the training extend over a period of more than six (6) months from the date of initial enrollment.(b) The course shall be in accordance with a curriculum established by the Department of Health.Acts 1955, No. 358, Art. 8, § 9; 1985, No. 215, § 9; A.S.A. 1947, § 71-860; Acts 2009, No. 4, § 23.
