Section 17-26-414 - Special programs

(a) Instruction shall not exceed ten (10) hours per day and six (6) days per week during the program.(b) When a student completes the required number of hours for a special program and reenrolls for a cosmetology program or when a student transfers from a special program to a cosmetology program before completion of the special program, he or she shall be given credit for the number of hours spent in connection with the special program, but not to exceed the maximum hours required thereof, toward the satisfaction of the time required for the cosmetology program as determined by rules of the Cosmetology Technical Advisory Committee.Amended by Act 2017, No. 973,§ 4, eff. 8/1/2017.Acts 1955, No. 358, Art. 8, § 10; A.S.A. 1947, § 71-861; Acts 2007, No. 223, § 42.
