(a) A person who violates this chapter may be assessed a civil penalty of no more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) per violation.(b) Any person who knowingly gives false information with respect to the matters required to be maintained in the records provided for in this chapter is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor.Amended by Act 2013, No. 1354,§ 8, eff. 8/16/2013.Acts 2007, No. 749, § 6; 2009, No. 390, § 4; 2011, No. 1193, § 4.
