Section 17-52-320 - Limitations

(a) Any cause of action to recover damages suffered by a consumer as a result of any act or omission of a home inspector relating to a home inspection report must be commenced within one (1) year from the date the home inspection report is completed.(b) Disciplinary action taken against a home inspector by the State Board of Appraisers, Abstracters, and Home Inspectors shall not in and of itself be the basis for civil or criminal action.Amended by Act 2023, No. 628,§ 65, eff. 7/1/2023.Acts 2003, No. 1328, § 1.
