Section 17-101-304 - Veterinarians - Temporary permit

(a) The Director of the Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission or his or her designee may issue without examination a temporary permit to practice veterinary medicine in this state to a qualified applicant for a license pending examination and provided that the temporary permit shall expire the day after the notice or results of the first examination given after the permit is issued.(b) A temporary permit may be issued or revoked by majority vote of the Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission.Amended by Act 2023, No. 691,§ 156, eff. 7/1/2023.Amended by Act 2021, No. 130,§ 2, eff. 7/28/2021.Acts 1975, No. 650, § 8; A.S.A. 1947, § 72-1139; Acts 1993, No. 1198, § 1.
