Section 17-81-204 - Organization - Meetings

(a) The Department of Health shall maintain and operate an office for the administration of the business of the Arkansas State Board of Chiropractic Examiners.(b) It shall meet in July of each year and from its members elect a president, secretary, and treasurer. The officers so elected shall hold office for a period of one (1) year or until their successors are elected and have qualified.(c)(1) It shall be the duty of the board to meet regularly one (1) time in every six (6) months for the purpose of conducting the business of the board.(2) Special meetings of the board may be called at any time at the pleasure of the President of the Arkansas State Board of Chiropractic Examiners or by the Secretary of the Arkansas State Board of Chiropractic Examiners on the request of any two (2) members of the board.(3) Four (4) members shall constitute a quorum at any meeting of the board.(d) The board shall determine by its own rules the time and manner of giving notice to its members.(e) Any action of the board, except the issuance of temporary licenses, shall require an affirmative vote of a majority of the full membership of the board.Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 4866, eff.
