Arkansas Legal Code
(a) An operator of a mobile dental facility shall notify the Arkansas State Board of Dental Examiners at least thirty (30) days before cessation of operation.(b)(1) The notification required under this section shall include without limitation: (A) The final day of operation of the mobile dental facility; and(B) A description of the manner and procedure by which patients may obtain their records or transfer the records to another dentist.(2) A copy of the notification shall be sent to all patients.(3) The operator shall take all necessary action to ensure that the patient records are available to the patient, a representative of the patient, or a subsequent treating dentist.(c) As used in this section, 'patient' means an individual who has received treatment or consultation within two (2) years of the last date of operation of the mobile dental facility by the current operator.Acts 2009, No. 414, § 1.
