Section 17-88-402 - Administration of compact - Rules

(a) The Arkansas State Medical Board is the Occupational Therapy Licensure Compact administrator for this state.(b) The board may adopt rules that are consistent with the Occupational Therapy Licensure Compact necessary to implement this subchapter.(c) The board is not required to adopt the rules of the Occupational Therapy Licensure Compact Commission for the rules of the Occupational Therapy Licensure Compact Commission to be effective in this state.(d) For the purposes of the member state's ability to reject a rule under Section 10(C) of the Occupational Therapy Licensure Compact, Arkansas delegates its authority in this provision to the General Assembly or the Legislative Council.Added by Act 2023, No. 257,§ 1, eff. 8/1/2023.
