Section 17-92-1005 - Requirements for internet sites

No pharmacy shall sell, dispense, distribute, deliver, or participate in the sale, dispensing, distribution, or delivery of any prescription-only drug to any consumer in this state if any part of the transaction was conducted through an internet site unless the internet site displays in a clear and conspicuous manner the:(1) Name of each pharmacy that causes the sale, dispensing, or delivery of a prescription-only drug to any consumer in this state;(2) Address of the principal place of business of each pharmacy that causes the sale, dispensing, or delivery of a prescription-only drug to any consumer in this state;(3) Telephone number of each pharmacy that causes the sale, dispensing, or delivery of a prescription-only drug to any consumer or other person in this state; and(4) Pharmacy's: (A) Permit number assigned by the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy; or(B) Certification by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy as a Verified Internet Pharmacy Practice Sites site and the Verified Internet Pharmacy Practice Sites seal with a link to the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy's verification site.Acts 2001, No. 1411, § 5.
