(a) Within thirty (30) days after their appointment, the members of the Arkansas State Medical Board shall meet and organize by electing a chair, vice chair, and treasurer. The Treasurer of the Arkansas State Medical Board shall give bond in such amount as may be designated by the board, which may be increased or decreased from time to time, conditioned for the faithful disbursement and accounting of all moneys coming into his or her hands as the treasurer.(b) The board shall hold its regular meetings at such time as the board shall establish by rule and shall have the power to call and hold special meetings at such times and places as it deems necessary.(c) The Chair of the Arkansas State Medical Board, the Vice Chair of the Arkansas State Medical Board, and the Secretary of the Arkansas State Medical Board shall have power to administer oaths for the purpose of performing their powers and duties.(d) The board shall have a seal bearing the name 'Arkansas State Medical Board'.Amended by Act 2019, No. 315,§ 1620, eff. 7/24/2019.Acts 1955, No. 65, § 2; 1979, No. 150, § 1; A.S.A. 1947, § 72-602.
