Section 17-99-310 - Medical director - Powers and duties

A qualified medical director shall:(1) Be readily available to respiratory care practitioners employed by or providing services for the organization he or she directs; and(2) Establish a policy that prohibits any person from ordering respiratory care for a patient, except a physician who has medical responsibility for the patient.Acts 1995, No. 1094, § 11.
