Section 18-12-205 - Certificate of acknowledgment

(a) Any court or officer that takes a proof or an acknowledgment of any instrument affecting real property shall grant a certificate of the proof or acknowledgment.(b) The court or officer shall cause the certificate of the proof or acknowledgment to be endorsed on the instrument affecting real property.(c) The certificate of the proof or acknowledgment shall be signed by the clerk of the court or by the officer if he or she has a seal of office.Rev.
