Section 18-43-109 - Officer to take charge of property

At the same time the notice is given to the defendant, the sheriff or constable shall take charge of the property as described in the statement of the plaintiff and hold it subject to the decision of the court, as in cases of attachment.Acts 1868, No. 64, § 8, p. 224; C. & M.
