Section 18-60-704 - Publication of notice

Upon the filing of the petition, the clerk of the court shall publish for four (4) weeks in some weekly newspaper published in the county a notice of the filing of the petition, describing the lands and the alleged conveyance to the railroad as set forth in the petition, and calling upon all persons claiming any interest in the lands to appear at the next term of the circuit court of the county and show cause, if they can, why the title of the petitioner should not be confirmed and quieted in him or her as against the railroad, its successors and assigns, and the alleged grantor, his or her heirs and assigns, and all others claiming by, through, or under them, or either of them.Acts 1911, No. 267, § 3; C. & M.
