Section 19-2-204 - Refusal to accept personal checks

Effective January 1, 2000, no state agency, board, commission, or institution may refuse to accept personal checks unless and until it has filed with the Legislative Council a written statement justifying the agency's policy to not accept personal checks.Acts 1999, No. 515, § 1.
