(a) There is established on the books of the Treasurer of State, the Auditor of State, and the Chief Fiscal Officer of the State a fund to be known as the 'Higher Education Consolidation Matching Fund'.(b) The fund shall consist of funds made available by the General Assembly, there to be used to match documented savings at public institutions of higher education that consolidate or merge as set out in § 6-60-102.Acts 1997, No. 1248, § 26.
