Section 2-2-118 - Penalties for inducing breach of contract

Any person or any corporation whose officers or employees knowingly induce or attempt to induce any person to breach his or her marketing or participation contract with an association shall be guilty of a violation and upon conviction shall be subject to a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) for the offense and shall be liable to the association aggrieved in a civil suit in the penal sum of five hundred dollars ($500) for each offense.Acts 1939, No. 153, § 21; A.S.A. 1947, § 77-1021; Acts 2005, No. 1994, § 3.
