Section 2-16-404 - Penalties

(a) Any person who violates any provision of this subchapter or a rule adopted under this subchapter shall be guilty of a violation and upon conviction shall be punished for the first offense by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) and for the second and any additional offense a fine of not less than five hundred dollars ($500) nor more than two thousand dollars ($2,000).(b) Any offense committed more than three (3) years after a previous conviction shall be considered as a first offense.Amended by Act 2019, No. 315,§ 9, eff. 7/24/2019.Acts 1975, No. 410, § 18; A.S.A. 1947, § 77-244; Acts 2005, No. 1994, § 8.
