(a) Any member of the Division of Arkansas State Police or any sheriff or deputy sheriff of any county who discovers or is advised of livestock running at large along or on any public highway shall arrange for the livestock to be taken up and delivered to the enclosure provided by the county judge.(b) The cost of taking up and delivering the livestock shall be borne by the county in which the livestock is found running at large.Amended by Act 2023, No. 594,§ 4, eff. 8/1/2023.Acts 1955, No. 145, § 4; A.S.A. 1947, § 78-1147.
