Section 2-40-1301 - Definitions

As used in this subchapter, unless the context otherwise requires:(1) 'Commission' means the Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission created by § 2-33-101;(2) 'Large animal' means cattle, horses, hogs, sheep, goats, cervidae, bison, llamas, alpacas, ostriches, emus, rheas, and other native or nonnative animals, excluding dogs and cats; and(3) 'Large animal carcasses' means carcasses of large animals which died as the result of sickness, suffocation, accident, or from any cause other than intentional slaughter.Acts 1993, No. 522, § 1.
