Section 20-10-203 - Powers and duties

(a) The Office of Long-Term Care is designated as the unit of state government primarily responsible for the inspection, regulation, and licensure of long-term care facilities and the regulation and licensure of long-term care facility administrators.(b) The office may promulgate such rules not inconsistent with this chapter as it shall deem necessary or desirable to properly and efficiently carry out the purposes and intent of this chapter.Amended by Act 2019, No. 315,§ 1858, eff. 7/24/2019.Acts 1969, No. 58, § 13; 1979, No. 28, § 4; A.S.A. 1947, §§ 82-2213, 82-2219.
