Section 20-13-702 - Creation - Purpose - Scholarships - Waiver of tuition services

(a) There is created the Arkansas Poison and Drug Information Center within the College of Pharmacy of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.(b) The purpose of the center is to implement a statewide emergency poison and drug information program designed and structured to deliver reliable, accurate, qualified professional judgments and responses to requests for emergency poison and drug information data.(c) Any funds at the disposal of the College of Pharmacy of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences can provide scholarships and fellowships to those providing services to the center.(d) Subject to the approval of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, registration or tuition fees, or both, in the University of Arkansas system are to be waived for those students who provide concurrent services to the center.Acts 1991, No. 796, §§ 3, 6.
