Section 20-14-904 - Remedies

(a) A qualified individual alleging a violation of this subchapter may bring an action in the appropriate circuit court for injunctive or other equitable relief.(b) Unless otherwise prohibited by Arkansas Constitution, Amendment 80, the court shall: (1) Schedule a hearing as soon as possible; and(2) Proceed expeditiously with an action alleging a violation of this subchapter.(c) This section does not limit or replace remedies available under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, 42 U.S.C. § 12101 et seq., or any other applicable law.Added by Act 2021, No. 837,§ 2, eff. 7/28/2021.
