Section 20-21-208 - State Radiation Control Agency - Powers and duties - Ionizing radiation

(a) The State Radiation Control Agency may require registration or licensing of other sources of ionizing radiation.(b) The agency may exempt certain sources of ionizing radiation or kinds of uses or users from the licensing or registration requirements set forth in this subchapter when the agency finds that the exemption of the sources of ionizing radiation or kinds of uses or users will not constitute a significant risk to the health and safety of the public or to the environment.Acts 1961 (2nd Ex.
