(a) The State Fire Marshal shall seize as contraband any fireworks other than Class C common fireworks defined in § 20-22-708 or special fireworks for public displays as provided in § 20-22-702 or for agricultural or industrial purposes as provided in § 20-22-703, which are sold, displayed, used, or possessed in violation of this subchapter.(b) The State Fire Marshal may destroy fireworks so seized.Amended by Act 2023, No. 841,§ 38, eff. 7/1/2023.Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 6018, eff. 7/1/2019.Acts 1961, No. 224, § 14; 1963, No. 34, § 2; A.S.A. 1947, § 82-1712.
