Section 20-23-309 - New boilers and unfired pressure vessels - Penalty

Every manufacturer, jobber, dealer, or individual selling or offering for sale or operating any boiler or unfired pressure vessel or installing any pressure piping that does not meet the requirements of the rules adopted under this chapter shall be guilty of a felony and upon conviction shall be fined not less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more than five thousand dollars ($5,000) and in addition may be imprisoned for not more than three (3) years, or both.Amended by Act 2019, No. 315,§ 2054, eff. 7/24/2019.Acts 1961, No. 494, § 7; 1970 (1st Ex.
