Section 20-27-607 - Notification of hazard - Abatement

(a) After completion of an inspection or investigation, the Secretary of the Department of Health or his or her designee shall notify the owner and tenant of his or her findings and, in the event any lead hazard was found, the notification shall contain instructions pertaining to abatement as prescribed by this subchapter and rules promulgated pursuant to this subchapter.(b) If the lead hazard has not been properly abated within thirty (30) days after receipt of notification, the owner shall be in violation of this subchapter.Amended by Act 2019, No. 315,§ 2094, eff. 7/24/2019.Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 5032, eff. 7/1/2019.Acts 1979, No. 896, § 5; A.S.A. 1947, § 82-741.
