Section 20-7-107 - Appointment of assistant director

The Secretary of the Department of Health may appoint and employ an assistant director who shall be knowledgeable in the field of public health and whose duty it shall be to assist the secretary in the general supervision of the affairs of his or her office and in the enforcement of quarantine and sanitation throughout the state.Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 4926, eff. 7/1/2019.Acts 1953, No. 282, § 1; 1979, No. 797, § 1; A.S.A. 1947, § 82-104.
