Section 20-7-120 - No right to enter home or take charge of children

(a) No official, agent, or representative of the Department of Health shall have any right under this section to enter any home over the objection of the owner of the home or to take charge of any child over the objection of either or both parents or of the person standing in loco parentis or having custody of the child.(b) Nothing in this section shall be construed as limiting the power of a parent or guardian or person standing in loco parentis to determine what treatment or correction shall be provided for a child or the agencies to be employed for these purposes.Acts 1923, No. 92, § 5; Pope's Dig., § 6453; A.S.A. 1947, § 82-129.
