Section 20-9-212 - Minimum standards for hospitals and other institutions

(a) The State Board of Health shall require hospitals and other institutions which receive federal aid for construction under the state plan to comply with such minimum standards prescribed by the Department of Health as may be promulgated in accordance with the federal act and federal rules and regulations.(b) A hospital or institution, or the governing body thereof, shall comply with such minimum standards as may be prescribed by the department under the authority of this section even though federal aid may not be sought or received under this subchapter.Acts 1961, No. 414, § 13; A.S.A. 1947, § 82-339.
