(a) All public and private hospitals located and operated in this state shall post in some conspicuous place in each patient's room the daily room rates for both a private and a semiprivate room.(b) Any hospital or person violating subsection (a) of this section shall be guilty of a violation and upon conviction shall be subject to a fine of not less than ten dollars ($10.00) nor more than fifty dollars ($50.00) for each violation.Acts 1967, No. 91, §§ 1, 2; A.S.A. 1947, §§ 82-355, 82-356; Acts 2005, No. 1994, § 105.
