Section 20-59-202 - Penalties

Any person, firm, or corporation shall be guilty of a violation and shall be fined a sum not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) nor more than three hundred dollars ($300) if that person, firm, or corporation shall:(1) Hinder, obstruct, or in any way interfere with the Secretary of the Department of Health or his or her deputies while discharging the duties of inspection;(2) Obstruct or hinder in any way the secretary from carrying out the full meaning and intent of this subchapter;(3) Refuse or fail to make the reports provided for by §§ 20-59-206 - 20-59-211 and 20-59-214 - 20-59-246;(4) Refuse or neglect to conform to the rules of the Department of Health that have been published as provided in this subchapter regarding the care or condition of any animal kept for dairy purposes or for the sanitary conditions of any room, building, or place where dairy products are kept either for storage or for the purpose of sale and distribution; or(5) Sell, exhibit, or offer for sale any dairy product that is adulterated.Amended by Act 2019, No. 315,§ 2190, eff. 7/24/2019.Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 5053, eff. 7/1/2019.Acts 1941, No. 114, § 5; A.S.A. 1947, § 82-916; Acts 2005, No.
