Section 20-59-204 - State Board of Health - Appointment of deputies - Rules and standards

(a)(1) The State Board of Health is authorized and empowered to appoint such deputies and office assistants as in its judgment may be deemed necessary to fully carry out the provisions of this subchapter.(2) The board is authorized and empowered to fix their compensation and to have full and complete control and supervision over them.(b) The board is further authorized, when not inconsistent with this subchapter, to formulate and prescribe such reasonable rules and define and establish standards for dairy products included in this subchapter as may be deemed necessary to accomplish the purpose of this subchapter.Amended by Act 2019, No. 315,§ 2191, eff. 7/24/2019.Acts 1941, No. 114, § 6; A.S.A. 1947, § 82-917.
