Section 20-59-247 - Disposition of funds

(a) All fees and fines collected under this subchapter are special revenues and shall be deposited into the State Treasury to the credit of the Public Health Fund to be used exclusively by the Division of Environmental Health Protection of the Department of Health.(b) Subject to such rules as may be implemented by the Chief Fiscal Officer of the State, the disbursing officer for the Department of Health is authorized to transfer all unexpended funds relative to manufactured milk that pertain to fees collected, as certified by the Chief Fiscal Officer of the State, to be carried forward and made available for expenditures for the same purpose for any following fiscal year.Amended by Act 2019, No. 315,§ 2196, eff. 7/24/2019.Acts 1941, No. 114, § [9], as added by 1987, No. 534, § 2; 1991, No. 328, § 4.
