(a) To assure compliance with this subchapter, the Division of Aging, Adult, and Behavioral Health Services of the Department of Human Services, through its authorized agents, may visit or investigate any receiving facility or program to which persons are admitted or committed under this subchapter.(b) The division shall promulgate written procedures to implement this subchapter on or before July 1, 1995. The provisions shall:(1) Designate receiving facilities or programs within prescribed geographical areas of the state for purposes of voluntary admissions or involuntary commitments under this subchapter; and(2) Establish ongoing mechanisms, guidelines, and rules for review and refinement of the treatment programs offered in the receiving facilities or programs for alcohol and other drug abuse throughout this state.Amended by Act 2019, No. 315,§ 2234, eff. 7/24/2019.Amended by Act 2017, No. 913,§ 97, eff. 8/1/2017.Amended by Act 2013, No. 1107,§ 28, eff. 8/16/2013.Acts 1989 (3rd Ex.
