Section 20-76-408 - Appeal to Department of Human Services

If an application for assistance is denied in whole or in part, the applicant or recipient may appeal to the Department of Human Services in the manner and form prescribed by the department. The department shall, upon receipt of the appeal, give the applicant or recipient a reasonable notice of opportunity for a fair hearing pursuant to the Arkansas Administrative Procedure Act, § 25-15-201 et seq.Acts 1939, No. 280, § 29; A.S.A. 1947, § 83-135; Acts 1997, No. 1058, § 15.
