Section 20-78-802 - Minimum requirements for a teaching credential

The Division of Child Care and Early Childhood Education of the Department of Human Services shall develop a birth through prekindergarten teaching credential that requires without limitation that the applicant:(1) Meet a minimum educational level; and(2)(A) Complete a core of courses in early childhood development and early childhood education.(B) The core courses shall meet the division's standards for the preparation of early childhood professionals.Acts 2009, No. 187, § 3.
