Section 20-79-213 - Eligibility for rehabilitation services

(a) Rehabilitation services shall be provided to any individual with a disability: (1) Who is a bona fide resident of the state at the time of filing his or her application therefor and whose rehabilitation the Director of Arkansas Rehabilitation Services determines, after full investigation, can be satisfactorily achieved; or(2) Who is eligible therefor under the terms of an agreement with another state or with the United States Government.(b) However, except as otherwise provided by law or as specified in any agreement with the United States Government with respect to classes of individuals certified to the Division of Workforce Services, the following rehabilitation services shall be provided at public cost only to individuals with a disability found to require financial assistance with respect thereto: (1) Physical restoration;(2) Transportation provided for purposes other than to determine the eligibility of the individual for rehabilitation services and the nature and extent of the services necessary;(3) Occupational and business licenses;(4) Tools, equipment, initial stock and supplies, including livestock and capital advances, books, and training materials; and(5)
