(a) In order to foster and promote useful part-time employment opportunities in community service activities for persons who are fifty-five (55) years of age or older and who have poor employment prospects, the Older Worker Community Service Employment Program is created.(b) The Division of Aging, Adult, and Behavioral Health Services of the Department of Human Services is authorized to establish and administer the program in accordance with the provisions of this subchapter, utilizing such funds as may be appropriated by the General Assembly in support of this subchapter.Amended by Act 2017, No. 913,§ 115, eff. 8/1/2017.Amended by Act 2015, No. 295,§ 1, eff. 7/22/2015.Acts 1985, No. 1031, § 2; A.S.A. 1947, § 81-1508.
