Section 21-1-104 - Limitation on judicial employment - State employee

(a) No state employee shall serve both in a full-time quasi judicial position, or in a full-time position which provides legal assistance to a quasi judicial position, in the Arkansas State Claims Commission, Arkansas Public Service Commission, Workers' Compensation Commission, State Department for Social Security Administration Disability Determination, or any other quasi judicial agency, department, or commission and as an elected judge.(b) For purposes of this section, the term 'state employee' means anyone who works one thousand (1,000) hours or more per year and participates in the Arkansas Public Employees' Retirement System.Acts 1993, No. 860, § 29.
