Section 21-1-906 - Exceptions

This subchapter shall not be construed to prohibit or otherwise limit a state law enforcement officer, state employee, or employee of a political subdivision of the state from cooperating, communicating, or collaborating with a federal agency if the primary purpose is not:(1) Law enforcement activity related to a federal ban, as defined under § 21-1-903(1); or(2) The investigation of a violation of a federal ban, as defined under § 21-1-903(1).Added by Act 2021, No. 1012,§ 1, eff. 7/28/2021.
