Section 21-5-501 - Definition

For the purpose of this subchapter, 'employee' means any person, partnership, or professional association whether appointed, elected, or under contract, providing services for the state, county, city, town, or other political subdivision for which compensation is paid.Acts 1975, No. 669, § 4; A.S.A. 1947, § 12-1621.
